Daily Prayer Times
Congregation (Jama'ah / Iqamah) times below are sourced from the mosque's official Mawaqit timetable and refreshed daily. Adhan begins approximately 15–30 minutes earlier per the local Tower Hamlets timetable.
Friday Congregation
Khutbah in English & Bengali. Please arrive early to secure a place. Brothers only — sisters' facilities available by arrangement.
About Us
A Spiritual Home for East London's Community
Aberfeldy Islamic Cultural Centre & Mosque has served the people of Poplar and Tower Hamlets since 2014. We are a registered charity (No. 1157888) run by dedicated trustees and volunteers, providing a place of worship, education, and community support for our largely Bangladeshi and wider Muslim community.
Our centre holds five daily prayers, three Friday congregations, regular Quran and Islamic studies classes, and hosts Eid celebrations and community gatherings throughout the year.
What We Offer
Services & Activities
Daily Prayers
All five daily prayers held in congregation. Open to all brothers every day of the year.
Madrasa & Quran Classes
After-school and weekend classes for children: Quran recitation, Islamic studies, and Bengali/English teaching.
Jumu'ah & Eid Prayers
Three Friday congregations weekly. Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha prayers held with the community.
Community & Welfare
Food banks, advice sessions, youth clubs, and support for vulnerable families in Tower Hamlets.
Adult Education
Weekend circles, Quran circles for adults, and talks by visiting scholars — all welcome.
